What is a worm gear Slewing Drive?
A worm gear slewing drive (or worm gear slew drive for short) is a
complete, ready to install system that consists of double envelop
worm, gear and completely enclosed housing. It can be customized
with hydraulic or electric planetary gearboxes with IP 66 grade
which is able to be used in outdoor applications. It has the
features of corrosion protection, high load, and high precision.
Worm gear slewing is widely applied in the relatively rotary parts
of machinery and solar energy field such as solar tracking system,
rotary chassis of aerial working machinery, truck crane, rock
drill, drilling machine, grasping wood machine, code molding
machine.
